select program

  • tryout registration
    The select program is a competitive program, where players applying to an age group are evaluated over two to three evenings during tryout week. Selected players selected are made an offer to register.
    U11 & U13 (but not U12): registration open open to all
    U12 & U14 (but not U13): registration open open to all
    U15 & U17 (but not U16): registration open open to all
    U16 & U18 (but not U17): registration open open to all
  • supplemental select tryout
    Players who missed tryouts and did not make advance arrangements with the club, or who arrive in mid-season, may request a supplemental tryout. If there are open roster spots in their appropriate age group, they will be evaluated by a coach and a DOC  (Director of Coaching) over several team practices, and offered a spot on the team if their skills match their teammates.

  • select registration
    A player who is made an offer to register into a select team has 24 hours to register while the exclusive offer they received is still valid.

  • winter program
    The winter program consists of a team training portion (Baseline) and the Futsal league. Confirmation and payment are needed for participation in either or both of the programs.

academy program

  • academy registration
    Academy registration does not require a competitive tryout. A player evaluation session will be held to build appropriate teams. Players who have a hard time following the directions for practice drills may be asked to join a rec team, and the difference in fees refunded.

    Both mini-rec and rec programs last from September through June with a break in winter. There is no competitive tryout.

micro program

  • May-June 2013 Fun Fridays Little Hot Feet (U4-U6)
    A 5-week long program on Friday nights from 5:30-6:30pm, May 17, May 24, May 31, June 7 and June 14. The camp features fun games, basic skills and a positive introduction to the game. There are individual and team contests, and a mini World Cup Competition.

camps and clinics

  • Micro – My First/ Mighty Mites Soccer Camp (U4-U6)
    A half-day program (1 ½- to 2 hour camps) for the 3-6 year old. The camp features fun games, basic skills and a positive introduction to the game. There are individual and team contests and a mini World Cup Competition. There are 6 sessions, 2 at Merton on June 17-20, 2 at Brandybrook on July 15-18, and 2 at Ewald on August 12-15. $95 for 6 hours over 4 days.

  • Youth Academy finishing and goalkeeper camps (U7-U12)
    These camps focus on skills development for junior select, academy and recreational players, including first touch, dribbling, shooting,  and goalkeeping. There are two sessions, one at Merton on June 17-20, and one at Brandybrook on July 15-18. $120 for 12 hours over 4 days.

  • Senior Select finishing and goalkeeper camps (U13-U19)
    The focus for these camps is tightly set on finishing, shooting, small-sided skills and goalkeeping: how to you efficiently convert your opportunities into scores. There are two sessions, one at Brandybrook on July 8-11, and one at Merton on July 22-25. $120 for 12 hours over 4 days.

  • academy and select preseason camp (U7-U19)
    This camp, strongly recommended to all academy and select players, prepares the players for the fall season and serves as a skills tune-up to bring them back to full soccer effectiveness. One session only, in Wales on July 29-Aug 1. Come to preseason camp to start the season on the right foot! $120 for U13-U19 (12 hours over 4 days), $95 for U7-U12 (8 hours over 4 days)

  • recreational finishing and goalkeeper camp (U5-U14)
    This is a great way to get back into soccer and refresh your skills before the recreational season starts: get back into shape, tune your passing, dribbling and shooting, play short small-sided games to bring up your tactics! One session only, at Ewald Fields on August 12-15, but U7-U12 rec players can also register for the youth academy camps above. $120 for 12 hours over 4 days.

  • academy of excellence weekly camp (U13-U19)
    Select players who are not exposed to extensive soccer during summer lose their fine edge, their physical shape, and their most lately acquired skills. This 6 week-long, one evening per week camp will keep them honed while giving them an enjoyable opportunity to practice and play with their peers. Academy of Excellence includes a specific goalkeepers program as well. Three sessions, 1.5 hours every Monday (Merton)/Tuesday (Ewald)/Wednesday (Brandybrook) evening from June 24 to July 31. Sign up even if you will be missing a week or two! $120 for 9 hours over 6 days.
